The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday in memory of the poet and politician Qu Yuan (c. 340–278 BC) of the ancient state of Chu during the Warring States period of the Zhou dynasty. The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the traditional Chinese calendar, and usually falls in June of the solar calendar.
The Mid-Autumn Festival also known as Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday. It is the second-most important holiday after Chinese New Year with a history dating back 3,000 years. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar with a full moon at night, corresponding to mid-September to early October of the Gregorian calendar
